My son who is 20 months is teething...I think. He got most of teeth early in age, but I think he is getting his molars. He is drooling alot and he his hands are always in his mouth. This has been going on for about a month and half, is that normal?

What can I do next?

Yep, my 20mo old twins are going through it too. It doesn't seem to bother Bren, but Tori always has her hands in her mouth. Traditional teething items dont reach the molar area so we give cold carrots to chew on and teething tablets. (Herbal- available at Walmart. company starts with an H and the box says Teething Tablets, should be in baby dept or pharmacy area- they are in both at our store)

My son is now 27 mos. I first noticed the chewing/drooling of his last molars at about 20 mos. They bothered him for about a month, then receded and now aren't bothering him. My pediatrician said this is normal, that they can take a while. I sure hope so, but we will be going to the dentist soon, because 7 mos seems like forever.

Yes, very normal. I asked the pediatric dentist because my daughter had her hands in her mouth constantly and she said that was because she was getting her 2 year molars.
Best wishes!

very normal. my daughter is 19 months old and has been trying to get her eye teeth for almost 3 months. They don't want to come in. She chews on her fingers constantly.
