Hello Moms~

My husband and I are celebrating our 2 anniversary this month and I am in desperate need of ideas. We are in the process of purchasing a home! I would like something sentimental and affordable with money being tighter these days. Does anyone have any ideas or could you let me know what you guys planned. Getting a sitter for the night let alone a weekend is a huge challenge so I am not looking for a get a way. Thanks for any advice in advance!

What can I do next?

Congrats! Me and my husband celebrated our 1st last weekend. Although we went away for the weekend. I gave him some naughty stuff. Not too naughty. A message kit and a fun board game. I did want to do that sentimental stuff but I figured thats what birthdays and Christmas is for. At least for this year.

For a sentimental thing, maybe put a scrapbook together of you and him and your child that you guys can look at.

Good Luck!

You husband works hard everyday to support his family. What would he think of a massage to take away some of the stress of those long work days. Costs about $50-$75 for a deep 1 hour massage.

This might silly but it seems to be a much liked gift to everyone. Some of the Mexican stores sell those luxurious soft, furry blankets and oh are they fun to snuggle in. They are also at the flea market and who knows where else. Perhaps one of those and a little nap underneath...

You could do something fun and creative that involves anniversary traditions. The traditional gift for the second anniversary is cotton, so the possibilities are limitless even on a budget! You could get him clothing, golf club covers or towel, or buy yourself some sex cotton underwear so he can unwrap his own gift.

The cost isn't what is important here - you can have a lot of fun sticking with the traditional anniversary gifts without it getting old or stuffy.
