My son will be turning one month in July and wondered if anyone had suggestions for gifts that their kids liked at that age?

What can I do next?

my son got a wagon for his first birthday and loves it! He sits in it all the time and loves to go for rides! Now that he is almost two he puts his toys and our smaller dog in it and takes them for a ride. It was the best gift he got.

We just put money into our boys' savings accounts for their first birthdays. They so much from the rest of the family and they don't know who gave them what.

anything he can play with outside: trucks, sandbox, small picnic table, lawnchairs, wading pool, fun sprinkler...something to help him learn to walk: small pushtoy etc...a cozy coupe car...maybe something for his room, especially if he has a baby themed nursery, maybe some new paint/wallpaper, truck rug etc...books...

I agree with others about the outside toys. And by then all the beach toys should already be on clearance at Target! :) And he'll be able to use those year after year, until they wear out.

We went WAY overboard for our oldest's 1st birthday. By the time our next one's 1st came around, we were a lot smarter and only bought a ride-on car and a ball. He was totally happy!
