Hi S.,

I did try it a couple of years ago. It is all about combining different foods. It worked for me the first 11 days, but then it didn't work anymore. It is also not a way of eating that you can realistically fit into your life long-term. At least it isn't for me. I use Arbonne Figure 8 products and they are great. I'm happy to tell you about them if you want to know more. Good luck!

Don't try to loose too much too fast. About 1.5 lbs a week is ideal, not sending your body into 'starvation mode' and making yo-yo weight less likely.
I haven't tried the program, but if your goal is to loose weight and be healthy you need both a cardio and a resistance training program. You need to build muscles in all parts of your body, not just your tummy. There is no such thing as spot reduction for fat. More muscle mass means more calorie burn even at rest. Cardio is good for your heart and burns calories as well. When I was in a program at the gym, they recommended 3-4 sessions of cardio (30 min) and 2-3 of resistance (30-40 min) per week. Make sure you give muscles at least 1 day to recover after resistance training before working that group again.
And any weight/fat loss program needs a change in eating habits as well - less sweets/fats & more fruits & veggies is a great start. The key is a change in overall habits, not just cutting back till you've lost the weight or it will start creeping back up

I am trying it now and have lost 10 pounds but I am still in my first 11 days. Hard to fit it into everyone else diet. We shall see.

Hi S. -

I have never tried that however my favorite book to follow when I need to lose those extra lbs is "Body for Life" By Bill Phillips. There are pictures inside the front cover of people who have lost the weight and gained the muscle. That part alone is motivating, but I always feel motivated when I read it. It is simple, you don't work out like 3 hours a day. I live by this and stay very fit!

S....

I have three words for you...RESTORE THE CORE. This is a KILLER abs workout and you will lose inches, yes INCHES, off your hips, waist & thighs.

There are classes around town; visit: www.strollerfit.com to get more information. You can also buy the DVD, but the classes are better because the instructors actually are trained in how to perform the exercises and can help tweak your position a little to help you get the best results.
