Hi, I am looking where I could buy a generic alternative train set other than the Thomas Brand. I read online that Target sales a generic brand, but have not seen it....

- I bought a Playskool set once. Also, I use my 40% off coupons to buy them at Michaels.
- If you are willing to have something other than wood, the Fisher Price GeoTrax line is very nice, durable, and easy for the kids to use and reconfigure.
- I don't know about Target, but Ikea and Toys R Us wooden track works (more or less) with Thomas wooden track and the trains are the same size/style.
