- Bleach your dishrags. Change it daily or more if it is used somewhere germy. Use hot water and bleach, no fabric softner (it makes towels/ washcloths less absorbent)
- Good advice below. I put a small amount of dish liquid in a bowl add water and set on the counter top you wouldn't believe how many gnats is in the bowl in the morning...

- I cut meat on a ceramic (or glass) cutting board, that is easy to clean. Rinse with hot water. Then wash everything with dish soap.
