- Make a paste of Dawn dish soap and oxy-clean. Let it sit for a couple of hours and then wash. hang dry and see if you have to do it again. Good luck!
- Have you tried Dawn dish soap? The other thing that I use when my husband gets grease on his shirts is Mary Kay eye makeup remover. Works everytime.

- You might try contacting the maker of the dryer, but I do know they make tar remover for car windshields and that might help get the tar out of the dryer.
