- Blogger.com is what I use, can easily upload photos, has plenty of room for writing, very easy to use once you play with it for awhile :)
- have you tried blogger.com? your website will be your name.blogspot.com. I use this one for my blog, not about food but i can add pics and trackers and many other tools.
