Stay at Home Moms and Finances

Hi I'm a soon to be stay at home mom of two and will be watching my 5 month old niece. Just wondering what other stay at home moms do about finances like groceries, family outings, etc. My son will be starting Kindergarden in August so we will have school stuff to get soon also.
