Cleaning Bath Toys

How do you clean your bath toys? I have tried rinsing the soap off after every bath but they don't seem to get rid of the soap scum. I've started dumping soapy water on them. Do you wash them in the tub w/soap after every bath? TIA

Bath Toys for a 4-Year-old

Hi, Mommies out there. It is once again that time to get rid of the squirt toys in my dd's bath net. But I am wondering if I should even bother replacing them. She is starting to take showers now (with my help and supervision) And still enjoys a bubble bath. I have no vision and I hate the idea that her toys can be moldy with out me knowing. Any suggestions are welcome. My other 2 are boys and transitioned to showers at around the same age but didn't have so many bath toys as they would bring in legos, cars, and foam puzzle pieces; which...

What Do You Do with Your Baby While You Shower?

Hi moms! I have an 8 1/2 month old and now that she is really mobile, I'm not sure what to do with her while I shower. She won't sit in the pack and play because it is in another room and she gets upset when she can't see me. The pack and play won't fit in our bathroom. She is too big for bouncy seats and swings. I was wondering what you do with your baby while you shower? Thanks for the suggestions!

Cleaning of Bath Toys

Random question but has anyone noticed how bath toys can get that grimy feeling to them after a while? Can anyone tell me how I should be cleaning the bath toys and how often. We usually just put them in a bucket after bath time but they are getting gross. The only thought I have is the dishwasher.....is that ok?

Any Good Magnet Toys for the 'Fridge? Oh, and Good Bath Toys?

I love you guys...thanks for all of your responses...:) My dd just discovered that the fridge is magnetic! I have been letting her play (supervised, of course) with the plumber's and Nancy B's business magnets, but I think she is ready for something better. I am thinking that the alphabet magnets we used to play with would be choking hazards for a 15 month old? Anything new out that could keep her attention while I (attempt to ) cook a meal? :) Oh, and while I have you, how abut some fun bath toys? Anything a hit with your little ones...
