Wakes Every Two Hours

Hi moms! I've recently posted on here about troubles I've had with breastfeeding my daughter but I'd also like to get your advice about some sleep issues. My girl has never been a great sleeper (takes short naps and will not sleep for those 12 hours I hear other babies doing), but recently things have gotten much worse. She used to have a long stretch of night-time sleep from 10-around 4am but now she wakes up every two hours throughout the night. She IS teething, but we keep on top of the tylenol (since I'm up every two hours!), so I...

My Son Hates His Teeth Getting Brushed!!

My son is 18 months old and absolutely hates his teeth getting brushed. I have tried different tooth brushes, he loves Thomas the Train and has a Thomas the Train toothbrush and toothpaste. My husband has to pull faces and act goofy to make my son laugh while I can brush his teeth but if he is not there it is a complete struggle. It is getting worse that as soon as I am holding the toothbrush he shuts his mouth. I have tried giving him the toothbrush and he just chews on it. He may 'try' and brush his teeth but I definitely need to help....

7 Month Old Waking up Crying

My daughter is 7 months old. She began sleeping through the night at 12 weeks - I thought I was lucky. Right after she turned 6 months, she began waking at odd hours of the night, crying. I've tried letting her "cry herself to sleep" but that never works. Crying turns into screaming, screaming turns into gagging. When I try rocking her back to sleep, she falls asleep immediately. As soon as I lay her back down in her crib, she starts screaming again. No sign of a tooth breaking through yet. She's got a night light and gets plenty to...

Toys in the Crib

I have noticed some moms talking about their babies walking up and playing in their crib for a bit. I was wondering what kind of toys the babies are playing with? We don't have any toys in our almost 7mos. old daughters crib, but I think she might like waking up to some in her crib.
