Best Pack N Play

We are going to be getting a pack n play soon to use in our bedroom for a newborn. After seeing many reviews it seems the bassinets in them do not always work well and tend to bend and the same is true for the ones with the changing table addition. I was wondering if there is a brand that anyone loves. Our room is too small for a crib and the baby's room will be on another floor, so this is our best option for the bedroom and it will be usable for travel too. Thanks for any and all comments.

Climbing Out of Pack N Play

My 2 yo started climbing out of her pack 'n play on our latest trip. She only got a small bump on the chin, but she was getting into things that could have been hazardous. Other than sitting in her room until she falls asleep (almost 2 hours last night!), how can I keep her in her bed. She has a crib tent at home and is definitely not yet ready for a big bed. I don't want to stop visiting the grandparents and taking other great trips!

Pack N Play or Co-sleeping

Hi All Mommies, My brain is on overload right now with all the products out there for babies. This is my first baby, and with so much info..........HELP Please. My baby is due in Feb. so I have some time ,however , I would love some advice. I already know which crib I would like to have but I'm a lil scared to put my baby in it right after birth. I've read about Pack N Plays and Co-sleeping. I'm wondering if the Pack N Play is a waste of $$ or would it be better to put my baby in the bed with me (just in the beginning ). It seems using a...

How to Make a Pack-n-play More Comfy

HI! I will be traveling and my son does not sleep well in his pack-n-play. It is not as soft ashis bed at home and it well isn't his bed! I know it is not safe to put a blanket in there for him to lay on. He does sleep on his stomach and I can't put him on the floor, he would crawl away when he's awake, which feels like all the time (I love teething!). I don't want him to sleep with me b/c neither of us would sleep. Any ideas would help!

Nap Schedule for Twins?

I recently left the workforce to stay home with my 8-month old twin girls. My former daycare provider wasn't able to stick with any sort of nap schedule. I don't know where to start. My girls aren't very good nappers and usually only nap for 30-45 mins twice a day. By the end of the day, they're a wreck and end up going to bed as early as 6:30-7:00. As a result, they wake up around 5:30am. Any ideas for a nap schedule? They desperately need one. I'm afraid I may also lose a bit of my sanity if they don't start napping more and for longer...

Infant Bed for Travel

My husband and I are planning some weekend trips this summer with our almost 6-month old baby. We've never had him sleep in our bed for fear of SIDS and crushing him. He co-slept in a bedside bassinet (Arms Reach co-sleeper) for 2 months, then he transitioned well into his own crib. We're scared that he won't sleep in the hotel crib if we rent one and we don't want to bring a pack n' play, which I believe is very uncomfortable for him now. The co-sleeper is too small for him too. We are considering having him sleep in our bed but we haven't...

Flying with a Pack N Play

We're going to be flying with our 15 month old next month and would like to take our Pack N Play. I've never taken a Pack N Play on an airplane. Do I check it, or carry it on, or have it stowed underneath with the strollers?

Pack N Play Mattress?

Hello! My son is just over a year and we are planning a beach house trip this summer. We want to bring the Pack N Play for him to sleep in, but the pad is so thin and uncomfortable. He is old enough now where I don't worry as much about SIDS. Does anyone know of a mattress that thicker or any ideas on how to make it more comfortable? Thank you, D.
