When Should I Pump?

My 2nd son is 3 weeks old and I would like to start pumping so my husband and 3 yr old son can help feed him. But when should I pump? He is eating every 2 hours almost round the clock. I am worried that after I pump, he will wake up and want to nurse and I will have just expressed all my milk. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Cereal in the Bottle

I have a 4 1/2 month old and I want to start giving her cereal. She has been waking up in the middle of the night and the nuk isn't doing the job so much anymore. So I have been giving her a bottle and I am curious if the reason why she is waking is because she isn't getting full enough. She has been sleeping through the night for about 2-3 months (she is a great girl) and now waking up ever so often. So I thought either trying to feed her cereal or I have heard cereal in the bottle but how much cereal do you put in the bottle so it...

Breast Pump - to Buy or Rent from Hospital??

So I'm due with my first baby in about 4 weeks and plan to breastfeed. I've heard differing opinions about buying a breast pump vs. renting one from the hospital? What are some thoughts from experienced moms out there? Is it worth it to spend 200-300 dollars to buy one or should I just rent? What's the difference? What are the hospital pumps like? help!!!!

Advice on Pumping

I am begining to come to terms with the fact that I have to go back to work in 8 weeks. I need to up my supply of stored milk because m son WILL NOT drink formula. I have started pumping but am only getting about 6-8 ounces daily. So here are my questions. 1. When is the best time to pump? 2. What is the safest way to increase my supply? 3. Will ANY of this affect my son who currently is fed on-demand?

Breast Milk for My Adopted Baby

I am looking for a Mom of a newborn or young infant who might be willing to share breast milk (for appropriate compensation) with my soon to be born adoptive baby girl (she's due August 8th). This is our second baby we are adopting and were not able to give our first the benefits of breast milk and would really like to be able to give this baby the huge advantages of breast milk for the first few months. I know this is a huge request, but also know if I don't put it out there, it won't happen. Thanks for your consideration!
