When to Potty Train

My son will be 2 in Feb. My husband is so determined to have him potty trained by the age of 2. I would love this, however, I have read that if you force it upon an unwilling child, that it can cause the potty training to be set back even more. We expecting our 2nd in March, and I think that my husband does not want to deal with diapers for both. I want him to be potty trained, but I want it to be successful. When do you think is a good age for potty training? What are some techniques to help him understand?

Should a 6 Year Old Get Ready for School Without Reminders...

I have a 6 year old boy.. and a 7 year old girl. I work part time and have a nanny come to my house to watch the kids get them breakfast and drive them to school. Today nanny called me. She said she thought the kids were big enough to get themselves ready for school without constant reminders. She said she had a talk with them today and told them that since they were big now.. she should not have to tell them to get dressed to put their pjs away and to brush teeth and hair... etc... they should just know the routine and do it.. ...

Thanks How Long Does It Take You to Get Out the Door in the Morning?

Hi Mamas, I need to tighten up my mornings. When it is just me getting my 3.5yo DD ready, it takes us 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours to leave the house (!) I know I can shorten my showers and move a little faster. DD is usually in good spirits and does alright. I'm wondering what I can realistically cut it down to. So, how long does it take from the time you wake up to the time you walk out? TIA!

I need help! My 2 1/2 year old will not potty train. He knows when he needs to go, and he knows what to do, but he will not do it. He told me he wants to be a baby forever.
