Suggestion for Infant Formula That Creates Less Gas

Hello: I am hoping that one of you might be able to point me in the right direction. I am looking for a formula that creates less gas for my 2 week old son. We are currently using Enfamil lipil with iron, but it seems to create quite a bit of gas for him and it is so hard for me to watch him in such pain. Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, A.

Toddler Refuses milk...need a Calcium Supplement Recommendation

My 17 month old dd will NOT drink milk, or have cereal with milk in it, cheese, etc. Not even fortified OJ (she won't drink juice, either, but I'm okay with that). She will eat one Yobaby yogurt a day but that only satisfies 20% of her RDA of calcium. What is a good supplement that can effectively get her the 500 mg that she needs? I would love one that is not necessarily "mainstream" (something from the internet or Wholefoods) but I am willing to look into anything. Thanks!

My milk supply has dramatically decreased and I spoke with the doctor about it and i need to start supplementing with Formula. I have been against formula from the beginning and still am, but for his nutrition and development it seems as if I have to give in and use it for a couple months until he turns one and can have whole milk. My doctor couldn't recommend any specific brand of Formula- just listed of...

Help !!!! 3 Yr Old Isn't Gaining Weight...

I have a little girl that has been diagnosed with Asthma, an allergy to tree pollen (although the doctor said she most likely has more allergies – she is a bit young for good test results) and JRA (Juvenile Rhumitory Arthritis)… we are also having issues with weight gain – lack of that is. She is 3, well will be next week and I’m kinda lost on what to do for her lack of weight gain. We receive W.I.C., so the Summit County Health Department is weighing her every 3 month and just don’t understand why she isn’t gaining any weight...

Weaning My 6 Month Old

I plan on starting to wean my daughter after she turns 6 months old next week. I have about a 3 months supply of breastmilk frozen and plan on pumping until my supply is gone, however, I figure I will have to supplement formula as well. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good formula to use that is closest to breastmilk?? Also, has anyone had success with combining breastmilk and formula in the same bottle? --MORE INFO--My ped recommended starting my daughter on solids at 4 months and we have worked our way up to 3 meals a day on...
