Hand Foot Mouth

My 2 1/2 yr old son has been diagnosed with Hand, Foot, Mouth. His mouth is full. Really full of sores. My pedestrian said to mix Benadryl and Maalox together and swab his mouth. Which is easier said then done with an over dramatic 2 yr old. He won't eat much because it hurt. I have been giving him children’s mortron, which helps. The sores seemed to have spread to his lips. Is there anything that we can put on his lips?

7 Week Old Miserable, Not Tolerating Formula... Any Thoughts?

Giving Infant a Solutab

Hello! I have a 2 part question. 1) My 5 week old has been diagnosed with GERD. She was put on Zantac which didn't work and then switched to Prevacet. The Prevacet is a solutab (tablet that dissolves into granules). I was told to dissolve the tablet in a very small amout of water and then give her the pill with a syringe dropper. My problem is that the medicine is hard to dispense that way and most of it ends up running down her chin or stuck in the dropper. Have any other mothers had to give their infant a solutab and what method...

2 Week-old Baby with Reflux

My 2 week-old daughter has gastroesophageal reflux (GER) which causes her to regurgitate a lot and makes her extremely uncomfortable. I am writing for some advice on managing this. She is exclusively breast-fed and she has been on 0.7 ml of Zantac 3 times a day for a little over a week, and I am not seeing any improvement in her symptoms yet. One of my sons also had this and was on Zantac until he was 13 months old, but it took till he was about 4 months old to find the right dosage to control it and he was miserable until then! I just...
