Hello, I am seeking advice from other Mom's that have experience with young Children with Asthma. My son who was born with Asthma has been on Allergy medicine and (an Albuteral inhaler as needed) from birth, He is now 9 years old and doing great in school, very little Asthma attacks! Enlarged Adenoids and Steroid Therapy

My 13mo daughter has had a "snot problem" for 4 1/2 months. Constant, thick, discolored snot runs from her nose. We have been on 2 rounds of antibiotics, claritin, zyrtec, and nasonex without relief. went to ENT last week who said it was her adenoids and placed her on decadron (oral steroid) for 5 days. Said that he was wanting long term relief from these steroids and if we did not achieve it (6 months or so) then we would need to remove her adenoids. Several questions here.
