Birthday Theme Ideas

My sister and I throw one big birthday party for our kids. My sons birthday is only 1 week away from her daughters. So for the family and friends we just do one party. Last year we did a Farm theme and took them to Fiesta Farm. Did all decor and cakes etc. to go with it. I loved it. This year I cant think of a theme that both my son and her daughter will like or that is unisex. She thinks we should just do a seperate theme for each kids. But I really want a theme. I love them and to go all out for them. Should I let them have there own?...

Invite/Theme For a Birthday Party for and Girl and Boy.

Putting together a birthday party and a local diner in four weeks. Need a theme for the party which isn't easy when your husband is very man and wants a good theme for his boy. Problem the party is for a girl which is turning one and a boy that is turning four. As of right now the the theme is mickey and minnie. Any other ideas that would be easy to find things for. Thanks.

First Birthday Party Activities

I am having my son's first birthday party on March 8th. Of course, there will be mostly adults, but we have at least 11 kids attending also. They range in age from 10 months to 11 years old. The party will only be 1 1/2 to 2 hours, but I'm not sure what to plan to keep all of the kids occupied. I will probably have some toys available for the younger ones (hoping that no one has purchased any of these toys for his gift). But I'm not sure of what to do for the 5, 7, 9, 10 and two 11 year olds and the adults. We will only be serving finger...
