What Should I Do for Diaper Rash?

I think my 2 month old son has some diaper rash on the inside of his thighs and his lower stomach above his diaper. I have never seen or felt diaper rash so I'm not sure if that is what it is. The skin is bumpy and feels leathery. I have applied some A+D Ointment on it but I'm not seeing a difference. Do any other moms have any suggestions of anything else I should be applying? Does Desitin work better? Thanks, D.

Natural Remedies for Red, Itchy Rash

My 21 month old boy has this large red rash on his bum/lower back. The red areas are slightly raised and some areas are peeling. We are letting him run around with out his diaper as much as possible and we use Seventh Generation diapers so I know it isn't a sensitivity to his diaper. So, far we have just been using Earth's Best diaper rash onitment. I am wondering if any one has...

Diaper Rash or Yeast Infection

My daughter's daycare provider made a note that she thinks my daughter has a yeast infection. It looks like a regular diaper rash to me - how can you tell the difference? How do babies get yeast infections (improper diaper cleaning)? She has been off her antibiotics for a week now, so I don't think medicine is causing this. Can I just use the adult OTC creams or lotions? It doesn't seem to be causing her discomfort..yet...so I want to clear this up!
