Potty Training My 23 Month Old

What's the best way to potty train my 23 month old. I have been trying to get him to tell me when he has to go but he tells me when he already did it in his pants. I have showed him potty training clips on youtube he shows interest but won't sit on his potty he will refuse and gets fussy. Any ideas would be appreciated thank you all in advance.

Accidents at Night

My three-yr-old is fully potty trained; however, she still has accidents at night. We've tried just letting her wet the bed thinking that the discomfort would wake her up. Nothing doing--she sleeps right through it. We've also tried waking her up at midnight or so to go potty. Sometimes that works, and sometimes it doesn't. We limit her intake of liquids before bedtime, but sometimes even that's not enough. Any suggestions? I'm afraid that if we continue with pull-ups at night, we'll be furthering a bedwetting habit that will last a...

Pants and Diaper Removing 22 Month Old Daughter!

In the last 3-4 days, my 22 month old daughter has begun to remove her pants and diaper; sometimes before she urinates and sometimes after! This is fine, but I'm sure at some point she will start removing the diaper after she goes poopy (not so cute)! She has an Elmo training potty and a potty seat for the "big girl" toilet, but she only "pretends" so far to use it. She has not learned to tell me when she has to go potty, although she likes to say it after the fact. Additionally, I bought her some "big girl" panties to wear in preparation...

Potty Training a 19 Month Girl

I have a 19 month old daughter who is very interested in the toilet. She tells us when she wants to make poop or pee (which she started doing at 14 months) and sometimes heads to the bathroom. Most of the time it is when I'm going to the bathroom, too. She is usually successful 1-2 times a day. She usually pees or poops before a book is finished. I am letting her call the times when she needs to go. Should I be more deligent about telling her to use the potty? Or should I continue to let her call the shots? I don't want to put more...

Potty Training When Kids Are in Daycare

Hi. My son is 18 months old. He's been telling me everytime he has to go poop. I figure it time to at least buy a potty seat and introduce him to the idea. I know he is young still and I realize that it may be awhile before he is fully trained and I know that boys generally take longer than girls to train so we'll see. He goes to daycare 4 days a week (Mon - Thurs). My question is how do they handle potty training at daycare? Right now he's in the toddler room which is all 1 year olds and I know they are not addressing it there. I'm...

Potty Training Twins

My boy/girl twins are 21/2, and I have been unsucessful thus far. I was wondering, what is the best approach to potty train twins. Should I do both of them at the same time? Should I try to potty train my daughter first? I really need to have them somewhat potty trained by the end of August. I will be in nursing school full-time, and the preschools in my area require kids to be potty trained. Thanks for any help!
