A Different Kid- a Different Set of Potty Training Problems!

My sons finally day trained between 3 1/2 and 4 years old with MUCH effort on everyone's part. So I was just fine to WAIT with my 2 1/2 year old daughter. But no...she clearly is ready as far as knowing when she has peed and pooped because she takes her pull-up off whenever she does. She wears underwear a lot around the house, pull-ups when we go out. I would be fine to put her in underwear all the time and just deal with the accidents, but I have no idea what to do at night. She is still in a crib, which we can convert to a toddler bed, so...

Hi Mamas ~ My son just turned 2.5 years old, and he is pooping and peeing on the potty when he feels like it. No pressure from us. He is our first child, and I have no experience potty training a boy. I grew up in a house with all girls! That being said, I want to buy underwear for when the time comes. Which ones worked best for you, and how many did you buy when you started out potty...

(We have not really started potty training yet, just let her sit on potty seat when she requests.) At night she sometimes pulls at her diaper and many times she manages to get it off. She sleeps thru the night on her own, about 11 hours, so we typically don't know that she has taken her diaper off until we go in to wake her up in the morning. As you can imagine, we have issues of her sleeping in wet pajamas and crib sheets,...

Potty Training a Resistant 3 Year Old

Hello Moms, My daughter turned 3 in March. At the advice of my pediatrician I have not been very forceful with pursuing potty training as she always seemed to be resistant. I've stopped and started too many times and I feel like the situation is getting more difficult. She often laughs when she poops in her diaper and likes to sit in it. She will run away when we try to change her and she thinks its funny to sit in her soiled diapers. Last night she took her diaper off and threw her poop on the floor. Today, I decided I have to nip this...
