What Products to Use for an Infant Who Has a Rash

Hi I was wondering what products many of you recommend for an infant (2 month old) who has a very bad sandpaper like rash all over her body. Her back is actually peeling today since her skin has been so dry. I did take her to her Pediatrician who ruled out any illness. He stated it may be sensitive skin or she may be having a reaction to a food that I am eating as she also has very bad reflux along with it. I use dreft detergent on all clothes/linens that come into contact with her. I use Eucerin on her skin which does seem to help a...

Strange Rash with Fever

Hi Ladies, I am hoping to get some feedback from some of you, My daughter broke out on sunday with her cheeks looking brite red, by monday afternoon she had a temp of 103, I immediately took her to her PC who looked at her and said it was a "Virus". Said it was not the swine. That was monday, so then I wake up tuesday to find that now the rash had gone to her thighs and back, and she still had a high fever even with the motrin and tylenol. THEN, Wed, she wakes up and now its all over her arms, and really dark red almost like a massive...

Hand, Foot, and Mouth

My son is 9 months old and has never been sick...until today! Ugh...help please... I picked him up from his in-home daycare today at 2:30 and he had a very high fever and had just thrown up. She gave him a luke warm bath and some tylenol. I took his temp at 3:30 and it was 103.6...of course I freaked and called the Dr. I got an appointment at 6:20. While we waited for the appointment he slept and drank a bit of white grape/water and some cheerios and kept those down. We went to the Dr. and he has hand, foot, and mouth. Where...

Head Itches from Allergies

Hi moms! This is almost embarrassing to talk about but my head itches so bad I want to scrub it with a Brillo Pad. I know the first thing most moms will go with is lice and that's not the issue. It's bad allergy time for me right now. I've always had a moderate amount of itching all over when this time hits but this is out of control this year. I'm thinking that it's worse since I've had my daughter in May. Lots of things that used to effect my body mildly are worse now after pregnancy so I'm just assuming this is one of them. What...

Spots on My Daughter

Hey everyone, my daugher has spots on her that appeared from nowhere. There are probally ten of them total. Going from memory, there are 3 on each of her sides, 2 or 3 on belly, and 1 just below her underwear line. I have no idea what they are? They are slighly raised and kinda look like pimples, but there dosen't seem to be anything in it. She dosen't itch. No fever. Same ole happy go lucky. And before you guess, no, not chicken pox, she's been vaccinated, and they don't look like chicken pox plus they don't itch. It's not measles or...
