Car Seat ?

My son is 11 months and weighs about 22 pounds, woould it be okay to turn him around.I know you are supposed to wait until they are one and at least twenty pounds but he is really hating his car seat now and he looks a little silly being that big facing rear.He is crawling and has taken a few steps so he seems strong enough.Any thought would be appreciated.thanks

Any Feedback on the Evenflo AMP Booster Seat?

I moving (at a snail's pace) toward putting my 4 year old into the no back booster that he's been begging me for ever since his best friend got into one. I looked at reviews on Amazon and Babies R Us last night and people seem to like the Evenflo AMP Booster Seat. Anyone here have anything to say about having used one? My boy is almost 4-1/2, 43 inches tall and weighs about 41 Lbs.

Rear Facing Car Seat

I just have a doubt after reading a news article about new suggestions for kids in car seats. I know they say to have your child rear-facing until at least 1 year old and 2 if possible. My son has been facing forward for quite a while, though. He's 10 months old and at his last doc. visit at the beginning of February he was 2.5 feet long. If I were to put him rear-facing his feet would be sitting on the head rest. How are you supposed to keep them rear-facing when they're so long? Infant Car Seat vs Convertible Car Seat

I had an infant car seat given to us when my DS was born. Now that my baby's coming in 3 weeks, I've been looking at new car seats. I loved having the infant car seat so I could take my DS inside while he was still sleeping, especially when visiting family or going out to eat. But I also like the convertible car seats b/c they last much longer than the first year, so I've been considering getting one instead of the infant carrier. I'm leaning towards the infant car seat, but I keep going back and forth every time I go look at the car...
