What About Goat's Milk?

My daughter is 8 months old. She now is breastfed and also eats babyfood and baby cereal, which I make with formula. Occasionally I give her a bottle if we're going out somewhere. When she was younger she was cow-milk-protein sensitive, but I've heard that Goat's milk protein is much closer to human milk protein. I know doctors don't recommend cow milk for infants younger than 1 year because their digestive systems can't quite handle the cow-milk proteins. So here's my question: Is there any reason not to give my daughter goat's milk...

13-Month Old Only Drinking Milk from Bottle, Not Cup

I have a mom friend whose 13-month old daughter will not drink her milk from a cup. She drinks water from a cup just fine, but when its "bottle" time, she'll only drink from her bottle. This mom friend has tried to put her milk in a cup several times, keeping the same routine as usual otherwise (same chair, same time, etc.), but the baby girl will take a sip, find out it's milk, and then just won't drink it! She'll just sit there and play with the cup. Has anyone had this same issue, and how did your baby finally come around to drinking...

Breast Milk to Soy Milk

My Daughter is going to be 14 months old soon. I have been giving her breast milk this entire time but am ready to stop pumping now. She has not nursed since she was 11 months old and I have been pumping the entire time since. I have decided to switch her to something else. Skim Milk / Whole Milk

what age is it good to start giving my 8month regular milk. and is it better to give skim or whole? i already am giving her two meals of pureed fruits and veggies that i do myself, and she takes formula three times a day, so this formula thing is eating into my pocket book, big time!!
