Major Poop Explosions

Dear Moms, Please help me. My daughter usually has daily bowl movements, however when she skips a day or two she ends up pooping a ton more than usual. When this happens, I change her immediately and when I lay her down the poop slides up out of her diaper and onto her back and sides everytime. The other day we were out having lunch and this happened at a restaurant. We rushed her to the restroom immediately and it was already too late. What do you do to prevent the poop from coming out of the top of the diaper? She is almost 5 months...

11 Month Old's Decrease in Fluid Intake and Constipation

Once again, I am tapping into the collective knowledge and experience of this awesome group! My 11 month old girl is not taking in as much fluid as she used to and is constipated. She used to take about 14 ounces of formula a day, plus what I mixed in with her and her twin brother's cereal. I also offer water in a sippy cup, which she only takes a couple sips of. Thanks for All Your Advice!!!

My 5.5 month old daughter has her first sickness--diarrhea since Friday. We took her to urgent care and they said it is probably rotavirus. I just wanted to know if anyone has any advice on how to get her to drink fluids--she hates anything other than her formula and she won't even drink that very much. I am currently giving her lactinex granules in her formula to help her stomach combat the virus (doctor told me to do this). Also, she has developed a pretty nasty diaper rash so any advice on curing and helping this would be appreciated...

2 Year Old Has Very Hard Bm's

Hello again.. my son has had very hard poops for the last couple of weeks, I started increasing his amount of juice of course, and it hasn't really been doing much. The last couple of diapers have been like little "pebbles". I called his ped. and she said to get suppositories.. I was hoping someone might have suggestions before I go this route - lol. Major Bowel Issues

I have a cute little energetic boy who just turned 1, when we started him on solid food, he started having pooping issues, he was going but crying when he did and this problem has continued.
