Terrible Behavior and Intense Fears in Toddler

I have a 19 month old son who is exhibiting some very bad behavior continuously for the last few months and it seems to be getting worse. On top of that he is having complete meltdowns at strange times. The behavior issues are kicking, hitting, and hair pulling--they happen at diaper changes, bath time, when he has to come inside form playing, etc. Not sure where it is coming from. I am a stay at home mom with him and my 1mo old daughter. I have been giving him my full attention outside of the time I spend feeding his sister and the...

Hitting, back-talk, whining, throwing things, jumping on the...

Grumpy 6 Month Old

My amazing 6 month old son seems to be developing QUITE the large personality. I know that he is "coming into his own" and am looking for any suggestions to keep him entertained. He goes to daycare which he seems to really enjoy and does a lot of playing. Any good toys for this age? I have a bunch but could always use suggestions. Thanks ladies!

Sesame Street Live: Elmo Grows up - Any One Attended? Experience?

This show is coming to BU's arena in late April and wanted to get feedback on what the show is like. How old were the children who attended? Is it a long period of sitting or is getting up and moving encouraged? Your thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

Question About Guns, Shooting

I just wanted to ask why nobody is upset when kids watch violent movies, read violent books about killing, play violent computer games, etc. but then when someone acts on that then everyone wonders why? What you see goes into your mind. Some people think more about it than others do but it's there. Some people have mental issues, yes, but some may not have been as bad without the violence added to their lives. Why do we allow it to be bought for our children and then fear telling them about real deaths? I don't understand that myself. ...
