I have 3 boys and 2 of them are old enough to lose their teeth. Both kids have gotten $5 for their 1st lost tooth and each tooth lost after that is $2. We'll do the same for our youngest son too.

We liked to give 10 shiny quarters. 10 coins seems like a lot of money and it's only $2.50 For the last baby tooth, he got a nice letter from the Tooth Fairy (done up in glitter so it sparkled) and 100 quarters.
