My then 4 year old daughter came up to me this summer and said, "Mommy! I know what I want to be when I grow up?" "Oh really? What?" "I want to be just like you! A Mommy!" Now, isn't that just the greatest compliment in the world?

At 3 (now 4) my girl had many ideas of what she'd be growing up: doctor, vet, gymnast, garbage truck driver, chef, and more. When I asked how she'd find the time to do it all, she responded self assured: "Mommy, I'm a girl, I can be anything I want!"

When I was a kid I wanted to be a lawn mower... the machine, not the person that pushed it. I thought it would be so wonderful to chop down that tall cool green grass with the lovely smell and how satisfying to leave that clear path behind me!
