The best vacation for a family is taking a cruise! We just returned from one on Carnival. Its affordable and so much fun for adults and kids. The kids clubs are amazing, great shows, great food, great fun! If 4 share a cabin 7 days will be less than $2000

Linda P commented on February 15, 2010 - We took our sons on a cruise two years ago. They were 8 & 11 at the time. We all had a great time. They can't wait to do it again. We have asked them if they would like to go to Disney and they always say another cruise. Great value too.

Tiffany C commented on February 15, 2010 - What cruise line did you take? Did you find them to be kid friendly? We took Norweigan, and didn't find them to be real kid friendly....

Brianna J commented on February 15, 2010 - I took Carnival to the Virgin Islands, very pretty, but the days at sea were boring, the cruise line didn't offer much atleast not on our boat. Atleast it was kid friendly. I heard the Princess is a good one, but I think quite expensive.

Debbie G commented on February 16, 2010 - Princess and Royal Carribean are both kid friendly, have great kid programs broken down into 3 age categories; NOT EXPENSIVE!!!! A little more than Carnival (more for the young adult crowd), similar to Norwegian; less than Celebrity. Alaska was great!

Vicki W commented on February 17, 2010 - At that time she was our only as well. At age 7 she was scared of the tiny crabs on the shore, but she LOVED the waves and the sand. Her doc found some in her ears MONTHS later and asked us where we'd gone to get such stuff in her ears! It was so fun!
