Peekaboo Barn is great for little ones too! My daugher just turned one and this is a great app for her age group.

Helena M commented on February 6, 2010 - This is a great app for 2 and under. Also the same company released Peekaboo Wild which is the safari jungle version of the same game. Worth buying the full version. My son has enjoyed this game since about 10 months old and at 18 months he still loves it

Peekaboo Barn is great for little ones too! My daugher just turned one and this is a great app for her age group.

My kindergartner loves Teach Me Kindergarten, Pattern Recognition for 1st Grade, and Coin Math.

My 2 1/2 year old loves Tozzle, First Words and Shape Finder. His first favorite app when he was younger was Peekaboo Barn (it's adorable!).

Toddler Teasers is worth purchasing full version--different settings allow either my 5 year old to quiz her letters, numbers, etc. OR my 2 year old to quiz her colors and shapes. Others have mentioned Animatch, which my 5 year old likes a lot.

We love this great new app for audio stories ... Tales2Go. My boys (8 & 4) ask for it in carpool (no more bickering), during breakfast, etc. It's books on tape, but streamed on-demand to your iPhone. Bonus: they don't bug me for TV anymore!!!!

Well, I must be the worst mom on the planet...my 3 yr old thinks the toilet paper one is hilarious...you just flick your finger and unravel the toilet paper..he laughs so hard he get hiccups

We like "The Wheels on the Bus" app. You can open and shut the doors, swish the wipers, make the wheels go faster or slower, etc. It's really fun.

My 4 year old is learning basic letter tracing with LetterTracer; and my 2 1/2 year old loves to "feed" the monster on the Feed Me! app. Make a Martian is pretty funny, too.

My daughters (4 and 5) love iWriteWords, the Word World App (called Build a Word), Giraffe's Matching, and Suzy Dress Up.

My son loves Old MacDonald, from Fish The Mouse Media. The art and interaction are great!

Monkey Preschool Lunchbox is a favorite of my 3 year old. It's a really cute game that intergrates counting, matching, etc.

A big hit at our house is Neon Doodle. Kids can make pictures using bright neon colors then shake the screen to erase them. Best of all if you like the doodle you can save it and even email your doodle to grandma. It's by Rocknthesweater.

My 4 year old likes to play "Animal Adventures" "Kids Match" (its alphabet memory) "Kid Art", "Dora" , "Dress Up" and "Grovers Number Special". My 8 year old LOVES to play "Diner Dash" :)

I just recently downloaded Doodle buddy and the kids just love it. They can play together on different iphone / ipod devices and so far have been really enjoying it. I also have fun creating fun doodles.

For learning, my kids love The Learning Touch application "First Words" (we just have the lite version, but will be buying the full version soon). For fun they like appsnminded's "Elephant Song" (I like this one too, it's a cute song to sing in the car).

Has anyone tried the new app--I think it just came out--Tales2Go? It's different than the other audio things we have tried because it's streaming kids stories--unlimited for $24 a YEAR. But my kids won't give my iphone back, and they are mesmerized.

My daughter is almost 4 and likes Itsy Bitsy Spider. It's appropriate for younger kids too, mainly just an exploration app where things move and act out parts of the song. There are a few game like features to it too. It's very cute.

How do I go about finding all these amazing aps? Wow, I never knew all these were on there for kids!!!

My 3 yo daughter loves Monkey Preschool Lunchbox, which is free and allows her to do puzzles, play Memory, count, recognize colors, practice letters, and receive a reward (i.e. choose a "sticker" to place on a bulletin board). She loves it!

How do you all keep the iPhone dry? My kid drooled on it a tiny little bit, the iPhone stopped working, and Apple refused to fix it because of "water damage." Advice before I buy a new one (my daughter doesn't have all her teeth yet)?

My son (6) mostly uses fun apps. Dizzy Bee, Ragdoll Blaster, Jelly Car, Trace, Scribble Lite, and Finger Physics Free. Great question!

My 22 month old loves Old Mac, very interactive and fun for them, they also make the Wheels on the Bus, but that one isn't as good. I hear Ewe, is great because it teaches them the animal sounds, she loves that one and can do almost all of them, spanish 2

My kids love The Little Red Hen, The Boy Who Cried Wolf, Mad Libs and Smack Talk. My older boys love playing solitare and using the Consequence Jar!

My two-year-old has giggle fits when we use SmackTalk - There are four animal characters that repeat back what you've just said in funny voices.

Fireworks, voice cards, ABC's...123's, is great full of great videos, bubbles, fluid, and her favorite at the moment, Humpty Dumpty, it's also interactive, she is crazy about it, FW Sampler, is great they learn to spell!

I have Pocket Phonics and just added the Teach Me Kindergarten. The phonics app. is great for my 4 year old. Comes in real handy for those unexpected long waits at grown up events and such.

Juicebox software's Animal memory game and their coloring book, keeps my kids busy for hours. Http://www.juiceboxsoftware.com - but get one for each kid.

My 2 yr old enjoys Wheels on the Bus. It was recommended by another friend w/ a 2.5 yr old.

We love Scramble. My first grader has beat my score several times!

Has anyone tried Sesame Street's Monster Maker? It's $3.99, and I am wondering if it's worth the cash.

My 11 yo likes Hangman. They all like Labyrinth. My twin boys (almost 6) like TicTacTouch, Memoryze, and most of all CannonGame!

Cute Math and Super Match are our favorites (at least, for educational games.)

We love the FREE Rush Hour app! It's a great problem solving game. We have the "board" game version from Discovery Toys, but the app is great! It counts the # of moves you use to solve it & shows the # it should take. You can try again to beat your score.

Star Wars Lightsaber...I know this is really bad, but they are entertianed until the battery dies.

We like Bowls and Sound Shaker as a distraction on those long car rides. Me and another mom friend created a game inspired by our little ones called Treat Street (by Elf Farm). We also have a garden game on the way. We'd LOVE any feedback

2 y/o daughter loves audio stories such as BINKY, the pink elephant and also LilyandStella by four squares lab.

My 2 years old loves Ballonimals(Lite, so there's only a dinosaur.) You blow into the speaker to blow up the balloon, then shake the phone, and it'll create a dinosaur that roars and stomps it's feet. An air pump appears, click that and the balloon pops(:

My son (almost 3) LOVES Doodle Jump. It is in no way educational but he laughs so hard he cries. His Daddy and I get a big kick out of it. He literally doesn't stop laughing the entire time he plays!

Sprout player, Dress Chica, Peekaboo Barn, VoiceCards(flash cards in Spanish and English) and of course Spongebob lite. ALL FREE!

My 3-1/2yo son loves Preschool monkey lunch box, preschool monkey when I grow up and duck duck moose also makes a couple really cute ones too! I love the 10 minutes of free time and he's learning !

My 4 year old daughter loves Number sense. This is a Math app and teaches how to count, subtract, add....I never thought teachin Math would be so simple!

The Lego Photo app (free) is one that my 8 year old enjoys as well as Maze Lite and as always, the ever popular DoodleJump!

SpinArt is so creative and Skee-Ball is really fun for my 7 year old! And we like it too!

Tickle Tickle is fun - my 2 yr old can draw and listen to the laughter as she doodles - she loves it!

A bit of shameless promotion here, but my hubby wrote an App called Drop It! Our 3-year-old and his 2-4-year-old friends seem to love it. It's kind of addictive. It's a very simple game. Even adults have a bit of trouble giving it back to their toddlers.

Wow you guys are all on such a good track. My son just turned 3 and has had his fathers old IPhone ever since he was about 2 and a half. All of his movies are on there and no learning games. but I will change that right now !

Itsy bitsy spider by Mother Goose Apps with music by Susie Tallman is a great hit for toddlers. Cute graphics and wonderful music.

I have a blackberry and you can download appworld.com for free and get tons of free apps, including games. My 3 year old loves Baby Go! and my 5 year old loves Pixelated and the 3 year old played it for the first time yesterday and likes it too.

My four year old daughter loves kid calc. Great math solving games!

doodle jump, scoops, mayjong solitaire(sp), solitaire. My 11, 8, and 5 year old love all!

My 3 year old and 1.5 year old love all of the iStorytime books. They are all narrated children's stories that have great illustrations and are totally unique and I don't feel like I'm plopping them in front of a video game so young.
