While I totally agree with Tara W., I have to add that it's whatever car your family is in! :) Ok... to mention literally the best family vehicle we've ever had? HONDA ODYSSEY by far!! They've put the family's safety & needs in a classy package!

- Love mine too- since I live in Texas not a problem with the whole ice and snow- I love that I can remove the seats in the middle on long trips to give more room- and I love that the back seat stows completely flat for when we go to the beach!

Michelle C commented on January 16, 2010 - with 3 kids we shopped around and this was the van for us. I was afraid of the Minivan stamp but we love it. we take long trips & it hasn't failed us yet. It's hard to find a roomy car when you have 3 carseats & 2 adults & lots stuff.

- I have one also. For the most part I really enjoy it, but when I have two carseats stapped
into the middle row, no one can get into the back row without unbuckling the carseat!

Where I live in the midwest, you really can't beat my Dodge Caravan -automatic sliding doors and hatch, heated leather seats for cold mornings, stow and go, and a built in DVD player for Elmo, Dora, and Barney videos. Compared to a big SUV gas is great.

Cari S commented on January 16, 2010 - I have had many Dodge cars and vans, they have drive train problems, they spend alot of money on great design and not alot on reliability plus they dont have the fuel tech. ford and GM do

- In the past 5 years i've owned 2 Dodge Caravans. It could hold the following items: double stroller, diaper bag, groceries, 3 car seats, and a tall hubby comfortably
Toyota Sienna. Very comparable to the Honda Oddysey, but I felt like I had better line of sight with a smaller blind spot in the Toyota, and I liked the feel of it better when I test drove them both. I LOVE my Sienna. No "mini-van image issues" for me.

I LOVE my Acura MDX. It's sporty looking, well made, and good in bad weather. The rear cargo area is very spacious and perfect for my 90 pound lab, but it's nice that I can put up the third row when I need it.

I love our Acura MDX. We had a Toyota Matrix and it was great until we had our 2nd kid. You kiss the windshield in the Matrix if you are 5'8" or taller. Tons of room in the MDX and love the standards it comes with.
