When our son was two years old, my wife and I began a search for a new day care provider. Barbie Dion, of Tenderhearts daycare, came highly recommended from many people we knew.

We had an unsettling experience with a prior daycare provider, so we were naturally a little cautious about where we placed our son next. Barbie immediately put our concerns to rest.

When I think of Barbie, the word professional comes to mind.

For three years, Barbie took great care of our son. She is a gifted teacher and caretaker. She is very knowledgable about the emotional and cognitive developmental stages of children, and often gave us great insight, encouragement, and advice about our son.

It was a sad day when our son left Barbie's to go off to school. Tears were shed. Me, my wife and son all miss her. And we will never forget what peace of mind she gave us, knowing our son was in the best of hands, being taken care of, and taught by, a talented and caring person with the best of hearts.

Barbie is the most amazing woman I have ever met. She is truly a godsend and I can never say thank you enough for always being there for me and more importantly, my daughter. Barbie came into our lives at a time when I started to believe I would never go to work without worrying about my daughter all day. I was very wrong. I know from my own situation how a horrible daycare experience effects your life. Despite months of research I selected the wrong person to care for my child. I think everything happens for a reason and now I am truly thankful every day that I found Barbie when I did. Once we switched to Tenderhearts daycare, my daughter flourished and even cries when I pick her up. I truly believe Barbie and Tenderhearts daycare is the best family child care in the Merrimack Valley. I go to work every day knowing my daughter is at a daycare where she is truly loved. I am confident I made the best choice and it shows everyday in the smile on her face and her continued development as result of Barbie's education program.

I have had my kids with Barbie for a total of 7 years (2 kids).
I honestly can't say enough good things about her. Tenderhearts Daycare is absolutely, without a doubt, the best start I could have ever given my children. It actually breaks my heart to think my youngest will be leaving her to go to school this fall!
