Studying a string instrument really will increase your child's concentration, coordination, patience, and critical thinking skills!
I also have a great deal of experience teaching adult students--no music reading skills are necessary to begin, no matter what your age.

Alison is an fabulous instructor! She has been instructing my daughter for awhile, and I have seen my daughter progress and an amazing rate. Since my daughter has started with Alison, I have even seen her ability to concentrate in school and other areas increase.

My daughter took viola lessons from Alison for 8 years. Alison is very talented, dedicated and caring teacher. My daughter was a beginning viola player and Alison inspired and encouraged her to be in her middle and high school orchestras and to compete in many competitions. Through Alison's teaching, my daughter was accepted and performed with the Florida Youth Orchestra. A wonderful teacher, we highly recommend her.

Never has my daughter learned so much and been so encouraged! Alison is a professional musician and an amazing teacher. My daughter has taken lessons from her for two years now and has grown in mastery and confidence through her inspiration.
