Sheila's Childcare & Preschool has been operating for 13 years now in my Kirkwood home. Open year round Mon-Fri, 7:30am-5:30pm,with a morning preschool program using the Fireflies curriculum. We were recommended to Sheila by my brother and sister-n-law as my niece had the opportunity to attend Sheila's Childcare & Preschool for three years. My son started attending her school when he turned two years old. My son at the age of three can write and spell his name and spell the names of his classmates. Sheila has a kind, gentle and consitent approach. It is a daunting process to find childcare and even more daunting to truely trust the peson you are considering spends each and everyday with your child. With Sheila I not only trust her intuition and decision making but I can go to work and not worry about my son's safety and general well being. He is very happy when I drop him off and eager to share his day when I pick him up.

Sheila's Childcare and Preschool has been a wonderful experience for me and my two boys (ages 2 & 4). They have been attending for over 10 months and have grown and learned so much! Sheila has proven to be reliable, professional, and very nurturing for the children. I would highly recommend her to any family looking for in home preschool/daycare.

Sheila is great! My daughter has been attending her pre-school/daycare program for almost three years now. She gets the perfect mix of school work and play time. I will be extremely sad when we have to leave next fall when my child heads off to Kindergarten.
