Kristen was both professional and caring. While I planned on a 'natural' birth, I had to have a c-section. Kristen armed me with knowledge, and helped me find the confidence to face it even though it wasn't what I'd hoped for. She was always there for me and my family, and I will forever be grateful!

Being a Registered Nurse I felt ready and knowlegeable about the whole birthing process. Deep down however, I knew (from friends and family too) that NOTHING could prepare me for the pain I was about to face. This is why I asked a Doula (Kristen) to help me while I was in labor. Having a breathing coach and someone to help me stay in control and focused really made me feel relieved! And I found out when I went to the hospital the nurses arent there with you all the time(only about 10% of the time). I was so glad that Kristen (my Doula) didnt leave me. She was able to teach me different positions and tricks to help me relieve the pain. And since she had actually birthed a baby herself (unlike my assigned nurse) I felt that she knew more about what I was going thru! It really made me feel more at ease, and who wouldnt want that??

I recently attended a birth with Kristen and she was a wonderful source of encouragement and support for the mother in labor.

I am a midwife, and I find that Kristen is so incredibly helpful to me and the mothers at births. I wish she was always there. She is a wonderfully patient and knowledgable postpartum doula, too. I highly recommend Kristen.
