Come and experience a Preschool Music Class new to the Orlando area. called “Music with Mar.” The program was designed by Maryann “Mar.” Harman; a nationally known and respected music teacher, speaker and recording artist. Though new here, the program has been in existence since 1993 and has expanded into multiple states and countries. There are two main ways that Music with Mar is different from other music classes. First, logistically: All classes are all ages so siblings can attend together. The price for classes is $7 per FAMILY (not per child), per class. There are no “sessions” to sign up for or commit to. You can purchase a class card for 5 classes for $30, which is good for 4 months (no need to use them consecutively if you choose not to). Second, Music with Mar is different from other programs in that it does not focus on musicality, but uses music to enhance the main areas of development – cognitive, social, motor and language.
