Mathnasium is a learning center where students go year-round to boost their math skills. We are highly specialized; we teach only math. Our program is for students in pre-K through 12th grade. Members pay a monthly membership fee, and usually attend twice a week for about an hour.
Our goal is to significantly increase your child’s math skills, understanding of math concepts, and overall school performance, while building confidence and forging a positive attitude toward the subject
Children don’t hate math.
They hate being confused and intimidated by math.

My 10 year old daughter has been attending Mathnasium of Frisco for a little over a year now. She went from hating math to loving it! She loves to go there and would go there every day if she could. Despite her learning challanges, which they have accommodated, she has made tremendous progess there. Her test scores have gone from failing (30-40%) to consistantly passing (70%+) and I expect that to keep improving. I cannot recommend Mathnasium enough! The owner and all of the tutors there have been really wonderful to work with. They make learning math fun for the kids and give them alot of praise and encouragement. My daughter's confidence in and attitude toward math has dramatically improved because of Mathnasium. If you have a child that struggles with math I encourage you to check out Mathnasium of Frisco!

All three of my kids have been to Mathnasium. My oldest, in particular has loved it, and my middle daughter actually asked to go back when I pulled her out because she was overloaded. It is a fun environment where the kids can get extra help on their homework or they can work on sheets specifically designed for them. My oldest has gone from hating math to liking many parts of it - she really enjoys her time at Mathnasium. It has helped her tremendously in TAKS - she no longer needs to go to Math Lab at school, allowing her to enjoy an extra elective. This year, she scored above average on TAKS! I gave Mathnasium five stars because I particularly love the environment - just enough discipline to learn, not so much that it is not fun. Perfect for keeping kids WANTING to go back.
