Kindermusik is about kids, parents, and teachers--coming together and having a great time! It's about helping you grow closer to your child, enriching her environment and her development, andgiving him a lifelong love of music and a foundation for learning.

Lauren Spavelko has had a creative flair for as long as anyone can remember. She grew up in Pickerington, Ohio, in a family who fostered her creative interests, first in visual arts and later in music. With the ambition to be an author, illustrator, and musician, she decided to do it all--just not at the same time!

Miss Lauren earned a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Ohio Wesleyan University and works primarily with choir, strings, general music, and private studio. She loves children, and they have always been drawn to her. She has been caring for children for over 10 years. Children sense her care and compassion, and it has been a natural extension of her personality to engage, guide, challenge, and teach them. Miss Lauren is a modern-day Pied Piper, leading children from all over on their exciting musical journeys!

Today, she strives to be a teacher who fosters creativity and independent thinking, provides an environment for children to grow emotionally and socially, and invites children to experience the joy of music. Through Kindermusik, she hopes to nurture music and creativity in a community of children and their families.
