Kindermusik is a music and movement program for babies through age 7 with locations in Mt. Lebanon, McMurray, Washington, and Squirrel Hill.
Each week in class you’ll play, listen, and dance to music that will impact you and your child in profound ways. That’s because every song, story, and two-step has a carefully chosen purpose in this creative curriculum—one that’s designed to stimulate and strengthen the vital neural wiring taking place in your child’s mind, right now. For our older students (age 5-7), we focus on learning to read and write music while learning to play a pre-keyboard, string, and wind instrument. It's the best preparation available for formal music lessons for this age group.
A Kindermusik educator will guide you every step of the way so you know how each activity contributes to your child’s overall growth and development.
Resources for home are included with each registration to make Kindermusik something you do through the week - an investment in your family that's fun and educational.

Kathy's Music has given my family and I a chance to meet other families and celebrate the joys of watching our son grow each day. Kindermusik has provided my son with musical experiences that have enhanced every aspect of his growth and development as a baby and toddler.

Kindermusik has been a part of my children's lives since they were infants! The music, movement, and activities are so creative and engaging. The lessons each week build upon each other. The home materials, including an instrument and a music CD, are a big hit! Miss Kathy and her staff are excellent. They are organized, engaging, and enthusiastic.

I began my first Kindermusik class with my then 20-month-old son just to meet people and get him involved, as we were new to the area. I knew he would love it because we sang constantly. Kathy is so warm, accepting, patient and informed that every class is a sheer joy and my son and I look forward to Kindermusik every week. Still, two years later, with my 17-month-old son getting ready to start up, I appreciate all that she brings to enriching our lives with music.

Kathy is simply amazing with the kids. My daughter has been participating since she was about18 months old and now she's turning 5 and still loves it. Wants to sing, dance and make her own music at home. Plus, Miss Kathy is so sweet, the kids just love her and she gets them engaged at all levels. You won't be disappointed:)

My boys ages 7 & 3 have been in Kathy's program for 3 years. We love how Kathy really combines Music with learning (ie.language, math,social skills,etc) It really gets the boys singing, dancing and thinking!! My oldest has learned more "note-skills" and Kindermusik has given him a great foundation for the next step (either piano or guitar...he hasn't decided)
