I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 3000 clinical hours of experience conducting psychotherapy with children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and groups.

I see clients experiencing a wide range of emotional and relational difficulties, such as parenting issues, stress, trauma, separation/divorce, depression, anxiety, and other life crisis situations.

My specialties include: animal-assisted therapy, play therapy, treating children of divorce and abused children, domestic violence prevention and treatment, and parenting groups.

I enjoy working with children who may have challenges with school attendance, simple phobias, pervasive unhappiness, parents who are or have divorced, grief or separation issues, disruptive classroom behavior, communication problems, suicidal tendencies, aggressive behavior, peer conflicts, experienced physical/sexual abuse, oppositional tendencies, ADD or ADHD, poor self-esteem, problems adjusting to life transitions, withdrawal tendencies, and bizarre behaviors. A combination of play therapy, art therapy, and talk therapy is used, as appropriate per the child's developmental level.
