Melissa had tons of fun ideas but also let us do what we wanted. She was great about herding in all the groomsmen and getting everyone to smile! Our pictures turned out wonderfully, perfect really. I couldn't have asked for better wedding memories!

Melissa is a great photographer who is extremely patient with kids (and even uncomfortable adults!), I would recomend her to anyone. I love that she brings the camera to you, there is none of the stress and drama of getting the kids out the door to make it to an appointment at a place that the kids don't know and aren't comfortable at. You get to stay home (or meet perhaps at a favorite park!?!) and the kids are comfortable. Amd we all know that the best pictures are when everyone is relaxed and comfortable!

Melissa has taken pictures of my family many times. Her talent is amazing, every time I look at the pictures she has taken I discover new favorites. She sees beauty and captures it when no one is looking. I am continuously amazed at the moments she captures. Her prices are reasonable, she is charming and wonderful to work with, and her work is fabulous!

Melissa is wonderful. I have known her for over 16 years and she has been a photographer for 14 of those years. She has taken all of my children's portraits. At least 5-6 of my family members have used her for their wedding and are very happy with the result. She is creative and patient. I recommend her to all my friends.

I have actually used Journeys of Life for a family Christmas photo. I will never have anyone else take our picture again. She was great with my childern(and they're not easy). We actually had several pictures that I liked and had a hard time choosing just a few for our card. Normally I have a hard time choosing one that is halfway descent. It was great having her come to our house too, the process was much less stressful and faster. If you have hauled your kids(and your husband) to have their picture taken, then you know what a treat that can be.
