Teach Infants (6 months- 12 months old) to learn to hold their breath underwater,
roll onto their back and float unassisted.
Teach Children (1 year- 6 years old) to learn the following sequence: how to hold their breath underwater; swim with their head down and eyes open; roll onto their back to float, rest, and breath; and roll back over to resume swimming until they reach the side of the pool and can crawl out or be rescued by an adult.

WOW! What more can I say? My 2 yr old swims like a fish now, but most importantly, has the ability - and confidence - to swim/float/swim herself to safety. "Miss Yvonne" is amazingly patient and nuturing. Don't hesitate to sign up for this program - you'll be so glad you did... and writing your own review in no time!

This is the best program out there. We have been in the program for three years. Yvonne is amazing. She is very patient with her students and truely enjoys teaching this program.

Amazing isn't a high enough rating. I am stunned and continually impressed with what my 18 month old son has learned in the pool. He can float on his back, unassisted (!), for more than a minute. And while his swim technique is not Michael Phelps - he sure can get to where he wants to go. I feel SO MUCH SAFER having him know how to survive in the water under his own skills. Living in Florida, one of my biggest worry is all of the pools, lakes, retention ponds around us, and that an "Accident" (as they always are)would be fatal to my son, my biggest blessing in life. THANK YOU YVONNE... for your patients, your persistance, your calming skill set to help my child reach this goal.

Yvonne is an outstanding swim instructor! She is patient, kind, and very encouraging to all of her students. This is especially important for children who are fearful of water! The children may start out crying, but it is amazing how quickly they transform into skilled and willing participants!

Yvonne was always calm and professional yet very caring to my Grandson. He learned alot of her and we are much more at ease with him in the pool.

Yvonne is fantastic with the children. She is focused and dilligent, and was sucessful in training my 7 month old the ISR techniques after just a few weeks. Her passion is evident every day, with every child.

I can't say enough good things about ISR and Yvonne!! I now have 4 kids who are strong, confident swimmers--- a complete contrast from what they were when they started the program-- can't say enough good things about it!!!

Yvonne is patient with the kids and professional. My 2 year old fell in a pool at a party and used the skills Yvonne taught him to float on his back until he caught his breath and then turned and grabbed the wall. She teaches skills that save lives and my newborn will take lessons with her as soon as he is old enough.
