The Illinois Dance Academy experience is a shared commitment to personal excellence between child, parent and IDA.

The Illinois Dance Academy is located in Joliet, Illinois, and has been serving the Lockport, Minooka, Shorewood, Romeoville, Plainfield, and New Lenox areas for over six years. We proudly provide preschool through adult dance instruction in a professional, safe, and friendly atmosphere.

Our mission at IDA is to teach excellence through dance, develop strong minds, open hearts, and create passionate dancers. We believe dance provides a unique way to encourage physical activity in ourselves and our children, while also teaching skills that can be appreciated throughout one’s entire life. No matter how old or how experienced you or your child is, IDA is the place to start and grow as a dancer.
