Conveniently located @ Highway 20 west(116th street North) & North Garnett; A couple of miles west of New Highway 169, is a off the beaten path of the "Run of the mill" eateries in the Tulsa Metro Area.

Huddle House; reminds me of the days of old, when my mom & dad, took us kids out to eat, to the "Mom & Pop" Diners of the 60's & 70's. A realitivly small building; but a lot of "Big-Hearted" atmosphere, and open, lofty space. The Cook & Customer areas, are always clean, and in full view; anywhere you sit in the ample booth seating. The food is Phenomenal, as if you stepped back in time to Diners in the old South. The Omelets are "Over-Stuffed" w/ Meat,Cheese & Veggies; now mind you, there are no Collard greens, or Crawfish, etc; just simple meals, cooked Southern Style, in a Old fashioned Setting. Something else; you must try a side of their "Sweet Potato" Fries, Not common in Oklahoma, but a welcome change of pace to the old "French Fry" Routine. The Desserts are a befitting end to the Meal. From A Waffle (as big as a Dinner plate) w/ Strawberries & Whip Topping, to Cheese Cakes, and Ice box Pies; Talk about Southern Comfort. DEEElicious!
