Business description (provided by the business owner):

My name is Antonina. I own a small, state-registered, high quality home day care center for children 3 months to 5 years of age. A college professor and children's phsychologist by training, i provide not only basic care, but also many developmental activities for children, age appropriate. I believe that small group and home envoronment that most resembles the child's own home is the most nurturing way of caring for children during the first several years of their lives. I cook from scratch, teach music, dance and art (painting).
As of May 19th, 2009 my Center is almost at capasity and can only accept one more child. Please, email me with any questions: [email protected] and cc [email protected]

The one thing that strikes me the most is how positive Grandma Antonina is. Her spirit is warm and uplifting and I could not ask for a more nurturing environment for my 4 month old.

Being a first time parent, there are simply some things that you cannot learn from a book, and Grandma, with her years and years of experience, has been extremely helpful with her gentle advice. (She should honestly consider writing a book!)

My baby girl seems to be a ‘generally happy’ baby and I can’t help to think it is in part to the outstanding care she receives. For me, my daughter now has 3 grandmas.

Any child would be lucky to have a spot in her daycare. I give thanks everyday that my little girl is in such good hands.

Choosing childcare was a scary concept for this first-time parent. I am so glad I found Antonina! She made me feel at ease the very first time my husband and I met her.

Her home is immaculately kept and is very warm and welcoming for the children. My son is only 14 months-old, so he can’t express to us in so many words, but the huge smile on his face when we walk up to the door lets me know that he loves Antonina’s daycare! One more amazing thing about Antonina, she has been potty-training our little guy with great success. I thought we would have to wait until he was older, but he’s been doing so great in her care. I know he would not have gotten that same attentive care at a bigger childcare facility.

She cooks homemade meals and makes sure the kids get outside for lots of fresh air when the weather is nice. I couldn’t ask for a better place for my child! Even the other parents are down-to-earth and friendly. I can rest assured that my child is in great hands. I would recommend her daycare to anyone and everyone!
