Since January of 2005, Cuddlebugs, an in-home family child care specializing in zeros to threes, has been providing loving quality care for some of Cville's cuddliest residents - as well as peace of mind for their working parents... now we offer that same gentle nurturing for Palmyra's cuties! Recently re-located & expanding in the Riverside section of Lake Monticello, Cuddlebugs offers a nutritious lunch plus a healthy morning and afternoon snack. All feeding and diapering supplies are included with your weekly tuition. Emerging language skills are encouraged by mimicking your child's coos and through simple ASL (American Sign Language) baby signs. A daily journal, complete with a picture of your child in action and a private, interactive web site to share with grandparents, aunts, uncles and far away friends are a few of the perks of being a Cuddlebug! Current hours 7am - 6pm M-F Limited spots available.

My son has flourished at the Cuddlebug Cottage. He learns something new everyday. I could not be happier as he is in such a loving environment. Dorinda is very qualified. She has taught him sign language and always has month or week long themes with targeted activities or crafts. Most importantly, she loves the children and loves what she does.

I have nothing but wonderful positive things to say about the Cuddlebug Cottage! My youngest son Bailey was there for a year until I was able to quit work and stay home (otherwise he would still be a full time Cuddlebug!!). Dorinda is the most wonderful and attentive caregiver that I have encountered. My son thrives in the environment that she provides. She is calm, loving, and encourages the children to grow and learn. They dance, sing, read, paint, learn sign language (to promote talking), celebrate holidays and seasons, have outdoor play, and most importantly are loved. I would highly recommend her (and have)!

We feel blessed that our daughter is in such good hands while we are at work. We know she's being loved, nurtured and stimulated during the day. Having Cuddlebug Cottage made my trasition back to work so much less stressful! Thank you, Dorinda!

It is a difficult choice for a mother to pick a child care provider for their children and fortunately for me I was introduced to Dorinda and Cuddlebug Cottege.
Not only does she provide excellent care for the children she also teaches them!! There are daily activities, crafts, exercises and lots of fun for the children.
I would recommend Cuddlebug Cottege to anyone looking for superior care for their child!
