Wow! Spring Sale is here, and I have not been dissappointed. Selection of clothing is great (Chez Ami, Lilly Pulitzer, etc), and the items are very well displayed and organized. They have met expectations!

No seasonal children's consignment sale in Charleston has put in the time, research and organization of Charleston Repeats. As a long time attendee of a mentor sale in another city, I can tell you how much I have enjoyed this method of shopping. I can shop twice a year and purchase all of my three children's clothing and a lot of their toys and books. And the selection and quantity of those baby must-haves are amazing. Who needs to pay full price for an exersaucer when you only need it for six months! I paid a fraction of the price at the Sale!

As a consignor I earn a higher percentage than at a brick and mortar store, and I receive the check in weeks rather than in drib and drabs. And I just have them take the unsold items to a charity so that I know that the clothes will be used. Of course, any special items can be returned to me at the end of the sale if I so choose.

So all of my purging and purchasing is done twice yearly, AND I get to see all of my Sale friends at the same time when I volunteer! What could be better! Charleston has waited long enough for a sale like this to be done so well.

It's difficult to give a specific review, since they have not yet had their first sale. BUT, I have been working with Charleston Repeats as a volunteer and feel sure this is going to be a great event and a wonderful, fun resource for Lowcountry moms! I've attended a similar sale in the upstate, so I sort of "get" the concept, and the ladies putting this one together are really doing a first-class job! Hooray! I'm so excited about this new addition to the Charleston Mommy calendar! Believe me, once you go this will become a regular part of your annual routine just like visiting the strawberry patch in summer, the pumpkin patch in fall and the Marion Square Christmas lights in December! You are going to love it! I really can't say that enough. I'm excited just thinking about what a discovery is in store for other moms all over the Lowcountry! See you at the sale!
