Business description (provided by the business owner):

Amy Duffing of 3 Peas Photography provides lifestyle portraiture for children and families in Minnetonka, Wayzata, Hopkins, Eden Prairie, Edina, Plymouth, Maple Grove, and St. Louis Park and throughout the Twin Cities MN area. Amy is a professional photographer who specializes in newborns, babies, children and families.

Amy's approach to photography is relaxed, fun, and spontaneous. She uses primarily natural light and shoots entirely on location. Your home, a local park, a neighborhood landmark....all make wonderful settings for your photoshoot. Families, children and babies are most comfortable in their own environment- where they can just be themselves- which enables their true essence to be captured on camera.

Lifestyle Portraiture involves your family and children just being themselves- playing, running, jumping, being still.... your custom portraiture experience will be easy, fun, and inspiring. Amy encourages children to be themselves, whether serious or silly, loud or quiet, capturing your children in the moment, as well as encouraging them with some gentle posing. The goal is for you to be at ease and have fun, so that your true personalities will be captured. Amy aspires to create images that touch your heart forever, and allow you to freeze this moment in time.

WE LOVE AMY! She has taken my children's pictures several times and I am continually amazed by how relaxed, easy and fun the sessions are. She is absolutely phenomenal with the kids. She is respectful, very down to earth and the kids really respond to her. I can't believe how many years we spent in cramped little studios with obnoxious, intrusive photographers. Never again! My kids respond so much better to being in their own environment and no matter what crazy things happen during the shoot Amy is always calm and reassuring. She takes her time and rolls with whatever comes along. She truly has the patience of a saint! She just follows the kids lead and gets unbelievable pictures. She really has a way of capturing children in a way that I have never seen before. It literally takes your breath away. People are continually commenting on the pictures we have up around the house. It is honestly the best experience my kids and I have ever had and the pictures…well, check out her website, they speak for themselves.

Amy is a WONDERFUL photographer and an even more WONDERFUL person! The pictures she has taken of our family and my children are amazing. She was a teacher in the past and has a way w/children. They love her and aren't afraid to give her their best smiles! She is also very patient and understanding of the children's needs during photos shoots. We've had to pull out cheerios, suckers, nurse babies, etc. just to do what works and she is fine with that. As the mom, that is soooo appreciated! She's great, I HIGHLY recommend her.

Nobody else has photographed my boys as I see them. Amy did an AMAZING job of hiking after them at high speed through a forest and her pictures were absolutely wonderful - I cried when I saw the proofs. They were exactly what I saw in my head.
Have a look at her website - it has some awesome examples of her work. I won't ever have anyone else take my pictures.
