Your Favorite Infant Carseat?

My 2004 Graco travel system served me well, but I let go of the infant seat when my second child ourgrew it. I am left with a (Graco?) snap-and-go stroller that I much prefer over the stroller that came with the travel system. So now I need a new infant carseat; preferably one that will snap into my snap-and-go stroller (I don't think they're brand specific, but I could be wrong).

My question to you: What "newer" infant carseat do you love and why? And do you use it with a snap-and-go?

Thanks for your help!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks for the suggestions, ladies! I'll be heading out to pick-up/feel/play with the carriers you suggested this weekend.

They make slightly bigger infant seats now that hold kids up to like 35lbs. A friend used this with her daughter and honestly, it was not noticably bigger than the 21lb limit seat that came with my travel system. It was a couple of years ago so the pattern was different, but this is the seat.

Obviously you wouldn't want to CARRY it around with a baby that heavy, but around the time I had to switch to a convertable seat, she just started leaving the seat in the car. She had a snap-n-go type stroller and it was ideal.

If I ever have another child, I'd get the seat she had so I wouldn't need another rear-facing seat after, then go to a forward facer like the Nautilus.

I can't give you any specific models, but I would say go and physically pick one out.

Make sure it's light (once you have a 20 pound baby in there it gets 'real' heavy! lol

Also, make sure it's comfortable to carry. I saw a newer one with an awesome handle - it was like a triangle so you could carry it facing any direction.

We're using our Chicco Keyfit for our second child. We bought the travel system, and I'm unfamilar with your Snap and Go. But, we've taught two sets of grandparents and family friends how to install it with ease, and we love that it has a level on the base to tell us that it's installed correctly.

LOVE our Chicco KeyFits. I bought one in 20008 for my son and let someone borrow it when he went into a big boy Britax seat. Then bought another one for my daughter in 2010. They are amazing for safety, durability, ease of use, easy to clean, comfort features. The only drawback is that they do not mount to the front of many shopping carts. That wasn't a problem for us since I wear her in a front carrier when she is small and we have a big grocery shopping trip and for quick trips I just set it in the basket portion of the cart . . . it is mush safer anyway. We use ours every day and switch it between vehicles often--never had any problems with either one. They really are incredible seats. Love that the cushions are all removable so it can be customized for tiny newborns ups to 30lbs. We took out the infant seat cushion about 3 months ago due to lil girls size but still use the infant head cushion and will until her head is big enough to not "bounce between the sides" without it.
We are using ours with the Chicco Together Stroller (Tandem 2 seater) so my 2 year old can ride too :0) Another AWESOME product!

I'm not sure if it will fit your stroller, but I love my Chicco Key Fit 30. It's really easy to use and install, my son loved it and we are planning to use it again with baby number 2 this spring.
