I prefer Pilates over Yoga, and my 2 favorite Pilates videos are:
1. 10 minute solutions Slim & Sculpt Pilates--this DVD has 5 different 10 minute workouts (upper body, lower body, abs, total body, and flexibility) and you can pick and choose which ones you want to do and the order that you want to do them in. Or you could do all 5 of them for a 50 minute work-out. I usually do three at a time b/c I try to squeeze them in while my daughter is napping. You do need a resistance band, but I received 2 free ones when i got the DVD.
2. The Burn and Firm Pilates DVD by Crunch is also pretty good. It has more cardio with it and uses 3 pounds weights for added resistance. It's also pretty fun (if working out can be called fun) b/c of the mambo and merengue moves it incorporates.
I don't do Yoga as often as i do the Pilates, but these are my 2 favorite Yoga DVDs:
1. Natural Journeys' Sacred Yoga (for beginners) with Vinyasa Flow
2. Natural Journey's 20 minute Yoga Makeover sculpted buns and thighs with Sara Ivanhoe.

About a year ago I decided to try Pilates for the first time. I purchased two DVDs (cheap) on Ebay. Of the two I am REALLY happy with 10 Minute Solutions Rapid Results Pilates. Check it out.

You could check out some from the library for free or if you have Comcast they have a fitness section where you can try what they have. You could also check out DVDs from Blockbuster. I always find it's good to try exercise videos before buying them. Sometimes the music isn't good or you just don't like the instructor and if you buy it, you're stuck with it. If you're like me, then you feel guilty that you spent the money and feel like you have to use it even though you don't like it.
I like Windsor Pilates. I like the instructor. Good luck!
